The Ooni of Ife Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, is set to marry his fifth wife.
Esabod Global news reported days back that the Ooni is planning to marry a 5th and 6th wife.
Words on the street has it that the Ooni would be marrying his fifth wife tomorrow, October 21st.
According to a certain blog, the 5th queen is a princess, who is influential and financially buoyant like Olori Mariam.
The new Queen is set to be in her early 50’s and she owns the African fashion show, London.
Meet the Ooni’s fifth wife
Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, who is the soon-to-be 5th wife of the Ooni, has known the King before he ascended throne in 2015.
The London trained lawyer is a very well known entrepreneur who shuttled between the UK and Nigeria. Ronke is the founder of the popular fashion showcase platforms, the AFWN & AFWL franchises. As a prince then, the now Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s company, was one of the major sponsors of the ‘Africa Fashion Week Nigeria’ the fashion showcase platform founded by Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, who is a single mother of one. As a princess in Ile Ife, Ronke’s great-grandfather was Ooni Ademiluyi Ajagun.
Moreover, she is in charge of the Queen Moremi Initiative; a global ambassador and founder of the Adire Odua. Her wedding to the Ooni comes up three days after his 48th birthday on October 17.
Meet Ooni’s 6th wife
Princess Temitope Adesegun, the alleged 6th wife of the Ooni, could be described as an achiever. She worked as the Personal Assistant to the late Secretary to the State Government, Princess Aderenle Adeniran-Ogunsanya during the Babatunde Raji Fashola led administration.
Adesegun was once married but divorced. She is actually based in Lagos and a director of Hope Alive Initiative Poverty Alleviation Advocacy that is powered by the House of Odua inspired by the Ooni.
Her marriage to the Ooni comes up a few days after Ronke Ademiluyi’s.
Ooni marries Princess Ashley
This news is coming few days after he married Princess Ashley.
The royal wedding was a dream come true for Princess Ashley, who had been a long time concubine of the monarch.
Ashely, ceased to be a princess, as she finally took up the title of a Queen.
The royal wedding was held in Ile-Ife.
The king’s family members were said to have moved to the late Prince Adeniyi Adegoke’s family house situated on Olubose Street, along Ede road, the ancient city of Ile Ife.
Just like the wedding of Queen Tobi Phillips, the Ooni was nowhere in sight at the wedding ceremony. His chiefs, the royal guards and the royal staff were there to represent him.
