“Today is a new day and a new beginning” Elegushi celebrates second wife’s birthday with heartfelt note



The Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi has penned a heartfelt note to celebrate his second wife, Queen Hadiza Elegushi’s birthday.

The Elegushi shared glamorous photos of his beautiful wife and an appealing note to celebrate her new age. The king is excited at the greater moments that will accompany his sending wife’s birthday while been thankful for all that she had been.


He prayed that his wife’s special day will birth more happiness and fulfillment in the manner shes been towards their marriage.

My Queen, today is a new day and a new beginning. I am thankful for all that you have been and excited at the greater moments that will follow through this day.May this special day of your birth bring you more happiness and fulfilment just as you do to our lives.Happy birthday, my Queen.I love you.”

Elegushi also celebrated his wife’s twin sister, praying that the sisters, whom he identified as dynamic duo, bring happiness wherever they go.

Recall that in 2019, news broke out about the King’s private wedding with his second wife, Hadiza the daughter of a former liaison officer to President Shehu Shagari, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, in Kano.


Following this, the couple welcomed a baby boy in August 2020 amidst cheers and celebration from the royal family and friends.


It was later reported that the couple lost their son, who was the only heir in 2022 after a year and seven months of birth. The cause of the prince’s death remains unknown as the royalty refuses to divulge the cause of his death.


In the same 2022, Elegushi showered his second wife, Queen Hadiza Elegushi, with love on the occasion of their third wedding anniversary.


Elegushi marked their 3rd anniversary with dazzling photos and a promise of togetherness in the many years to come..
