“There was no deserving courtesy to serve me” Iyabo Ojo finally reacts to Naira Marley’s N500m lawsuit against her, demands N1 billion in counterclaim

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has at last reacted to the N500 million lawsuit singer, Naira Marley filed against her.

Esabod Global News reported on Thursday, last week that Azeez Adeshina Fashola professionally known as Naira Marley had dragged Iyabo to court, demanding a public apology from the controversial actress or risk facing legal proceedings which could amount to N500 million as damages.

In his lawsuit, Naira accused the mother of two of defaming him, alleging that the actress published false and malicious content about him on her Instagram page.

Now reacting to it, she noted how the singer through his lawyer never found it worthwhile to serve her the lawsuit privately, rather it was being disseminated online.

The fearless mother of two had also filed a lawsuit, a counterclaim, against him for failure to serve her the suit by hand or through mail, which could lead to blackmail.

The movie star is demanding N1 billion from the singer for deliberately misleading the public.

“MY RESPONSE TO THE LETTER FROM MR OLALEKAN OJO SAN DELIBERATELY CIRCULATED OVER SOCIAL AND PRINT MEDIA WITHOUT DESERVING COURTESY TO SERVE ME.

I look forward to hearing from them at no distant time, please.

Yours sincerely,

Iyabo Ojo”.
