Drama has been trailing the response of Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham towards the comparison between herself and box office record breaker, Funke Akindele.
An X influencer, Adetutu Balogun irked the actress when she mockingly compared her victory at the box office with Funke Akindele and Mercy Aigbe’s victory.
In a post tweeted in Yoruba, Adetutu saiid Funke Akindele will continue to b their boss because they don’t operate on the same level. Following this she was blocked by the actress.
Mixed reactions talked Toyin Abraham’s step towards the comparison, however Esabod Global News recalls that Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham has ended their feud and reunited in 2023.
The duo ended their longtime beef when they celebrated each other’s birthday. They got many talking when they shared posts of each other on Instagram with heartwarming words.
Also, Toyin Abraham’s attendance at Funke Akindele’s She Must Be Obeyed premiere was the talk of the internet.
Recall also that Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele had tongues wagging in 2021, when they both chose same date, September 10, 2021 to release their movies; ‘Ghost and the tout too’ in the cinemas and ‘Omo Ghetto the saga’ on Netflix.
Actress Iyabo Ojo further fueled the rivalry by calling out Funke Akindele days after the movies were released, for paying a popular movie citric to ruin Toyin Abraham’s movie.
