“Hope you won’t leave him because of money, 3 husband is okay” Troll slams Laide Bakare over her new relationship, she reacts


Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has replied to a troll who queried her over her new relationship.

The Yoruba star, who unveiled her new man late last year, had defended him against false accusations, which she didn’t make known to the public. Laide pointed out that one man’s food is another man’s poison.

Taking to her comment section, a troll questioned if the actress wouldn’t leave her new man because of money as she did with her second husband. He told the mother of three to keep on love as she has been married twice.


“Congratulations to you. Hope you won’t japa later because of money because you are Olowo ni no Balo, 3 husband is okay rest, Hun”.


Replying to him, Laide hurled insults at him as she noted how has her own money.

“Ode like say I know get my own money. Ori e ti daru. Oponi, Omo Ale”.



Esabod Global News reported sometimes back that it appeared Laide had found love again after she posted a loved-up video of herself and a mystery man who had a wedding ring on his finger depicting that he was married.


In the video, Laide Bakare was seen hugging and planting kisses on her lover whose face was hidden from the camera.


The mother of three finally unveiled him on her Instagram page late last year as she talked about love, describing it as a beautiful thing as she called on her fans and lover to join them on December 2nd at


Amore Garden, Lekki.


In another post, she advised her fans to have enough courage to give love another shot.



Laide Bakare’s first marriage was with American-based business tycoon, Olumide Okufulure, while her second marriage was with Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo. Her first marriage to Olumide Okunfulure produced a daughter, Simi.


Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last long and Laide Bakare got remarried to Mutairu in 2012 in a secret marriage and the union produced two sons.


The couple however separated after he was alleged to be involved in fraudulent activities which made the EFCC declare him wanted in 2014.


In 2023, Laide called out her ex-husbands, for being deadbeat fathers.


Describing them as “Awon ex-hubby isonu”, she recounted how her ex wanted her to suffer and for her life to be destroyed but God didn’t allow it.
