Recall that Foluke Daramola had written an open letter to President Tinubu and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu on the poor state of Nollywood actors, following the death of veteran, Dejumo Lewis.
She noted how many of the veteran actors are suffering especially health-wise and have no help. Foluke urged the president to offer a better arrangement for the veterans and called for them to set up a trust fund for the veterans and provide little things for them, that they would appreciate for the rest of their lives.
Over the years, Foluke has become a mouthpiece for ailing veterans, as she loves to offer support to ailing veterans.
Months back, Daramola had cried out for help over veteran actress, Obiqgheli Molobe’s ailing health, urging the public to offer financial assistance to Obiqgheli and her children as the actress was down with a partial stroke.
According to Foluke, the veteran had gone through surgery and has iron in her leg, and is also a diabetes patient and had High Blood Pressure.
Speaking up for herself, the ailing veteran recounted how she was diagnosed with a partial stroke in 2022 after an unfortunate incident that has now left her right and foot paralyzed.
