Tiktoker and her mum argue with Funke Akindele as she offers her scholarship to return to school (Video)

Nollywood actress and Box office Queen, Funke Akindele has won the hearts of many as she offered to cover the expenses of a Tiktoker who justified why school isn’t important.

The Tiktoker, identified as Oyin aka Honeymoon, in a video that went viral, claimed that the Holy Spirit told her not to go to school. She even justified reasons why school isn’t important to further prove her point.

Funke Akindele, who saw the video, joined her TikTok live video to persuade her to return to school. The mother of two went as far as offering to send her to school and covering her educational expenses.

Funke stated that she wants the lady to write her WAEC, so she can head to the University.

“Do you know why I joined this Live video? It’s because I want to pay for her school. I want her to do her WAEC, she can’t do that at home”.

Unfortunately, the lady and her mother seemed unimpressed as they tried to tackle Funke Akindele. Her mother made it known that even if someone gives them a Visa to travel overseas and the Holy Spirit tells them not to go, they wouldn’t go.

The movie star is no doubt financially capable of sponsoring the lady to school as she made history this year, as the first Nigerian filmmaker to gross over a billion at cinemas, as her latest movie, A Tr!be Called Judah grossed over N1.4 billion.

Her groundbreaking achievement made her the recipient of a brand-new car at her event. She even received the Silverbird Lifetime Achievement Award, which she dedicated to her fans and loved ones.

Two years back, Davido gave out a scholarship to a Ghanaian college dropout, who scored A parallel in his WAEC.

The young lad identified as Young Morro Suleyman had made A1 in all his West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exam subjects but unfortunately, he couldn’t proceed to University as he had been at home since 2021.

Reacting to the news, Davido launched a search for him, and when he found him, he gifted him a full 4/5 scholarship to Adeleke University, with accommodation and allowance.
