“These are minors, their identities shouldn’t be exposed” Writer Ozzy Etomi defends girl who bullied her school mate

In a recent development , writer and twitter influencer had slammed Nigerians over their love for jungle justice.

Taking to the x platform the writer expressed her displeasure at the treatment of Maryam Hassan, the girl who went viral for bullying her school mate.

She revealed that the entire situation should be left in the hands of the authority. This statement is coming after a video showed Maryam Hassan being slapped across the face by another woman.

In her words, she had this to say,

“Not to be funny but why is the entire country involved in a school bullying issue? And I understand the girl is a bully, but these are minors? Aren’t there protection laws against this? Bullying in a school is a sign of the school’s failure as well FYI.”

“These are young children. Their identities aren’t meant to be exposed much less paraded all over social media and being shared on blogs and news sites.”

Now recall that, Esabod Global News had reported that the girl in question who bullied her school mate identified as Maryam Hassan had issued an apology to Nigerians.

In a particular video shared on social media, she is seen seated as she expresses how sorry she is for slapping the girl repeatedly. She also issues an apology to social media users who have been angry with her since the video release.

However, a lot of netizens believe that her apology is not genuine as they express that she was only apologizing because she was caught on the video camera.

Also recall that just a few hours ago, media personality Do2tun kick started a new challenge as he boldly called out bullies in his Secondary school, Mayflower School, Ikenne.

This is a response the viral video of the student of Lead British school being bullied by her Maryam Hassan and her other friends.

He called for anyone who has suffered bullying to call out the perpetrators.

Taking to his Instagram page, he told netiznes and victims of bullying to name and tag the bully as he revealed he attended Mayflower School Ikenne where two boys were constantly bullying students.
