“One day we will discover that not everyone whose DNA didn’t match cheated. The big business of exchanging kids at birth from our hospitals is one angle many haven’t talked about.

What do you think?
DNA of Mother to child is also very important to clear the air”.

A few days back, Rotimi Salami had stirred the internet as he made a strong case for paternity fraud, advocating that it should be criminalized like rape. He likened the pain and trauma a woman experiences when raped to that of a man when he finds out the child he has been raising another man’s child.

Upcoming actress, Charity Nnaji while weighing in on late singer, Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi refusal to undergo a DNA test for their one-year-old son, Liam, addressed Nigerian men telling them that their wives are suspects if they support Mohbad’s wife. She urged them to take their kids for DNA tests.

Addressing women, she likened them to witches for allowing their husbands take care of another man’s child, as she noted how women are the only ones who know who impregnated them.

Meanwhile, veteran actor and filmmaker, Ugezu J Ugezu had kicked against the need for DNA. The actor had taken to his Instagram page to chastise men who have formed the habit of undergoing paternity tests before claiming a child.

He opined that DNA stuff is tearing many homes apart and destroying innocent children as any child born to an African man is an African man’s child.
