Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has penned a heartfelt message to Liam, the son of the Late singer, Mohbad as he turns one today.
Taking to her Instagram page, she described the toddler as a superstar and rained powerful prayers on him. Iyabo prayed for protection from all evil and prayed for him to be great in life and to live long.
Expressing love for him, she appreciated his mother, Omowunmi for raising him well.
“Happy one-year birthday to our dear little superstar, Prince Liam Eyinimofeoluwa Omo ilerioluwa oladimeji oba imole… may God continually protect you from all evil and every evil one….. may you grow up to be great in life, and you will live very long in Gods wisdom, knowledge, provision, and guidance…. we love you, son iamliamlight
Omowunmi weldone”.
A few days back, Iyabo Ojo while celebrating Mohbad’s mother as she turned 50, admonished ladies that when praying for a mother-in-law, they should pray God gives them someone like her. Giving reasons, she noted how she stood by Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi through thick and thin.
Iyabo Ojo made it known that she has backed down from Mohbad’s case. Though she didn’t give a reason, she stated that it hurts her that the late singer didn’t get the justice he deserved and is still yet to be buried.
However, she is assured that someday justice will be served.
Iyabo Ojo backing down is coming as a surprise as she had pledged to him, vowing that no matter how hard people try, or the distraction/storm that comes their way, she and other concerned citizens will never give up.
Refreshing your memory, Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12.
When news of his death made rounds, Iyabo Ojo revealed unknown facts about the late singer and apologized to God for always questioning him.
The mother of two had even gone as far as promising to believe in and support APC, if they can get justice for the late singer, Mohbad.
Her support for him drew several criticisms and reacting to it, Iyabo boldly declared that she would continue to speak her truth no matter the narrative they draw about her and the hate she receives. She stated that she would rather die a fearless, bold, and courageous woman who speaks & fights for justice for Nigeria to be better.
