Popular Yoruba Nollywood actor Sisi Quadra’s death was announced not too long ago, and it had the internet shook up, including his colleagues in the movie industry. His cause of death is believed to be an illness of some sort.
Tributes have been pouring in from left to right, including one from actor Kunle Remi. In a post dedicated to Sisi Quadir, he wrote, “I pray for the family of Sisi Quadir, I pray peace and comfort in this trying time. I am glad to have shared the screen with him intimately and laughed so much with him. Thank you king! Rest well.”
In his caption, Kunle Remi went on to narrate how during a brief illness on the set of the movie they worked on together, Sisi Quadir stood by him until he got better. Kunle Remi also stated that Sisi Quadir’s art as an actor lives on forever, and that he would not be forgotten.
Prior to his death, Sisi Quadir was mostly popular among fans of Yoruba movies, but upon his death, the tributes dedicated to his name have skyrocketed his name postmortem. A lot of high profile celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo have come out to post their condolence on social media. These posts have made Sisi Quadir very famous in death, and it also shows that he was valued in the movie industry. His colleagues will surely miss his on-screen sarcasm, and his ability to get creative with words.
