Adekunle noted how he needs to pay his daughter’s school fees and as such, badly needs them to stream their song.

A few weeks back, Adekunle Gold came under heavy criticism over his Soundtrack on Hollywood’s film, The Book of Clarence.

Adekunle alongside Yemi Alade took the global stage with their debut on The Book of Clarence. The two music stars alongside international artists like Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Kid Cudi, Jorja Smith, Shabba Ranks, and more featured on the movie with a soundtrack.

The movie which was directed by Jeymes Samuel, featured new music from Jay Z, who was also the producer of the movie.

The movie had however received tons of backlash from netizens calling it blasphemous and dragging Adekunle.

Last year, fans of Adekunle Gold were excited as he teased a project with his wife, Simi, after 5 years.

Adekunle announced that he had recorded 5 songs with his woman, however, they filtered it to one song, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’. The father of one noted how he hasn’t featured his wife in any of his songs since his 2016 album, Gold.

Hyping the song, the proud husband expressed gratitude to his wife for blessing his new album, Tequila Ever After with her magic.
