Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has denied rumours of bleaching her skin.
The movie star, while partaking in a trending TikTok challenge shared before and after photos of herself, which has led many in awe of her transformation. Funke made it known that she didn’t bleach her skin as she admonished her fans and followers to her forget the days of their little beginnings.
Sharing a message for them, she told them to be inspired, and stay focused as someday they will get there.

The photos have left many praising her for her growth.

In August of last year, Funke Akindele reflected on her journey into Nollywood as she celebrated her birthday. She expressed gratitude to God for being with her throughout her journey, from the beginning, the Old Nollywood days, and now.
The mother of two stated that she is grateful for the bad, good, and great times.
Funke Akindele has no doubt set a huge milestone that it would be hard for any Nigerian filmmaker to break. The movie star and filmmaker made history in January, as the first Nigerian filmmaker to gross over a billion at cinemas, as her latest movie, A Tr!be Called Judah grossed over N1.4 billion.
It’s no surprise to many as Funke is one of the most hardworking women in Nollywood. Her movies in the past three years, A Tr!be Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto The Saga are respectively the highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.
Her groundbreaking achievement made her the recipient of a brand-new car at her event.
Last month, she received the Silverbird Lifetime Achievement Award, which she dedicated to her fans and loved ones.
