Taking to her Instagram page, Tonto stated that it’s her duty to celebrate Nigeria when she is down and when she is up. For her, it’s her duty to celebrate the country’s resilience and products which is us as citizens.
She noted how Nigerians have been denied their rights, yet they still strive; weren’t expected to succeed, but they did; and weren’t expecting to grow, but they did.
Tonto praised Nigerian youths for being one of the richest folks out there and how citizens have continued to survive.
She added that she isn’t just a pretty face, but a politician, an ex-deputy gubernatorial candidate and she owes her strength her celebration, just the same way, she owes her country a celebration.
“NIGERIA OUR COUNTRY
NIGERIA OUR ONLY HOME.
.
It is my duty to celebrate her when she is down and when she is up.
It’s my duty to celebrate her resilience and products which is us as citizens.
We have been denied our rights, yet we still strive.
We weren’t expected to succeed, But we did.
We weren’t expected to grow, But we did…
Our country was not built for Us to survive but we are LIVING IT UP.
Our youths are one of the richest folks out there.
IF FOR NOTHING, YOU (CITIZENS) ARE EVERYTHING WORTH CELEBRATING
…A few weeks back, Tonto Dikeh had lashed out at National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for inviting singer, Naira Marley to their office.
The agency had shared a photo of the singer, revealing that Naira Marley had paid a visit to their office to declare his support for the War Against Drug Abuse.
Taking to its comment section, Tonto vowed to unfollow the agency as she considered them the most unserious set of folks.
Tonto, however, stated clearly that she has nothing against Naira Marley but the government, which she isn’t afraid of.
The mum of one noted how she doesn’t involve herself in issues, especially other people’s issues, however, this is the biggest embarrassment for any government agency/drug law enforcement agency.
I AM NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE, I AM A POLITICIAN, AN EX-DEPUTY GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE.
I owe My strength a celebration today as I owe my country a celebration.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE NIGERIA WORK”.
