“Double Blessings” Music Executive, Ovie Confirms The Birth Of Davido And Chioma’s Twins



Music executive, Ovie has confirmed reports making rounds that singer, Davido and his beautiful wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke have welcomed twins.

News made rounds on Tuesday that Davido and his wife, Chioma have welcomed twins.

Davido, further fueled the rumors after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Maba Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in one of his songs on his Album, Timeless.

In a song titled ‘In The Garden’, which features Morravey, Davido in his lyrics said, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji”.

The singer had also tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week in his life.

His brother, Adewale Adeleke further fueled the rumors as he gave thanks to God on Twitter.

Though not revealing further, he tweeted, “We thank God”.

Now fueling the rumors more, Ovie stated that he had confirmed the news.

Congratulating the couple, he noted how God gave them double blessings.

“Confirmed.
Davido and Chioma.
Double blessings”.


Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, had also confirmed the rumors, as she shared details about the twins’ birth.

Kemi disclosed that Chioma delivered twins – a boy and a girl on Monday, 9th October 2023 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, US.

She claimed that Chioma, who had been on bed rest for 90 days, welcomed her twins, through cesarean operation (CS) at 38 weeks.

Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Gospel Agochukwu, of Shekinah Arena International Ministries also confirmed the birth of their twins.

In a post on his Facebook page, the clergyman congratulated the couple on their new bundle of joy.

He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message, acknowledging that his prophecy of last year has come true. From the chat, someone had claimed that the couple had welcomed twins – a boy and a girl at 9 p.m., though the date wasn’t revealed.

Recall that the clergyman had revealed that he had received a divine promise that Davido and Chioma would welcome twins.

If true, the birth of their twins would be a ray of light for the couple who lost their first child, a baby boy at 3 years.
