Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Gospel Agochukwu, of Shekinah Arena International Ministries, has confirmed the birth of Afrobeat singer, Davido and Chioma’s twins.
In a post on his Facebook page, the clergyman congratulated the couple on their new bundle of joy.
He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message, acknowledging that his prophecy of last year has come true. From the chat, someone had claimed that the couple had welcomed twins – a boy and a girl at 9 p.m., though the date wasn’t revealed.
Recall that the clergyman has revealed that he had received a divine promise that Davido and Chioma would welcome twins.
Esabod Global News reported hours ago that Davido and Chioma are trending on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter after news broke out that the couple has welcomed twins.
Davido, further fueled the rumors after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Maba Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in one of his songs on his Album, Timeless.
In a song titled ‘In The Garden’, which features Morravey, Davido in his lyrics said, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji”.
If true, the birth of their twins would be a ray of light for the couple who lost their first child, a baby boy at 3 years.
Davido and Chioma lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke on Monday, October 31.
The toddler drowned a few days after his third birthday which was on October 20, and was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
It was gathered his parents, Davido and Chioma had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who couldn’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
