Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing made an interesting post on her Instagram story, mere hours after her ex-husband, Opeyemi Falegan, sent her well wishes due to her ill health.
The write-up Nkechi Blessing posted stated that one man’s ex is another man’s prayer, what one man didn’t appreciate, another man is praying for. This post may look like a subtle shade thrown at Falegan, since he’s her most recent ex, and he made a recent post relating to Nkechi Blessing.
A lot of public banter was witnessed due to the fact that Nkechi Blessing and her ex-husband Falegan Opeyemi David were constantly in the news for throwing not-so subtle shade at each other, and using colorful words to describe themselves. It was indeed a messy divorce, and as such, a few eyebrows rose at the wake of Falegan Opeyemi David’s goodwill message.
Esabod Global News reported that Falegan Opeyemi David made an Instagram post, sending well wishes to Nkechi Blessing when she made a post about being ill. Both Falegan and Nkechi Blessing have been separated for a while now, and their separation was a public one, and so was their relationship. It took a while before the back-and-forth banter ended, and it has been quiet between them since then.
Although Nkechi Blessing didn’t outrightly respond to Falegan’s post about her, this recent post may look like shade thrown to some. The message is clear and needs no interpretation. However, the question arises whether Falegan Opeyemi has extended a hand of peace, and whether Nkechi Blessing will accept it. Another question is whether Nkechi Blessing’s post is a blatant refusal of that alleged hand of peace offered by Falegan Opeyemi.
