Nigerian skitmaker, Abdulgafar Ahmed Abiola, better known as Cute Abiola has caused a stir online with a photo of him meeting football legend, Messi.
The actor cum comedian, via his Instagram page, shared a photo of him with him, the footballer, and his sons at the Ballon d’Or award ceremony, where he won an award.
In the photo, which was photoshopped, Cute Abiola wore a pink agbada, which is particularly common among the Yorubas, while Messi and his sons donned suits.
He revealed, in his caption, that he got emotional on seeing the award-winning footballer after 15 years. He expressed gratitude to him for forgiving him for all his wrongs when they were in Kwara state and had nothing.
He described Messi as a definition of being humble and he is glad the footballer is leading by example.
“Seeing you again after 15 years is something I am so emotional about. I am glad you still decided to forgive me after all the wrong things I did to you back then in Kwara state when we both had nothing. This isn’t the first time, Cute Abiola has publicly shared a photo with him and a footballer.
Some years back, the skitmaker got tongues wagging with a photo of him the outstanding football star and Messi’s rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.
He shared a picture of himself holding the footballer as they posed for the camera, as he welcomed him to Kwara, Ilorin. He expressed how excited and eager he was to show him around Ilorin.
Cute Abiola isn’t the only celebrity obsessed with foreign footballers.
