Days after regaining their freedom, Nigerian singer, Naira Marley and his aide, Sam Larry alongside Naira’s signee, Zinoleesky have made their first public appearance.

Esabod Global News reported Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested and alleged to be responsible for the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Mohbad, and were kept in police custody for more than five weeks.

The pair were released on November 17th after the duo met their bail conditions. This was confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Friday, where he revealed that they had perfected their bail conditions granted by a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrate, on Monday, November 6 granted the duo bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible duties.

Following their release, the singer and the socialite reunited with Zinoleesky as they made their first public with hefty security.

In videos making rounds online, Zino was seen conversing with Naira Marley and Sam Larry, which left many praising him for standing by his boss. In another clip, the trio entered a car as Sam Larry recorded them.

Taking to the comment section, netizens questioned why they walking around with security.

Mohbad was signed to Naira Marley’s” Marlian Records” and left the label in 2022, and died a year later at the age of 27.

Last year, the singer and rapper posted clips of an alleged assault he suffered at the hands of Naira Marley’s Crew after he requested to change his manager.

Naira Marley, responded to his accusation, by saying that he was lying as he spilled teas about him.

Mohbad released a full statement countering Naira Marley’s claims, expressing how justice will be served someday.

However, videos released online after his death proved that the young talented singer was being assaulted. A video of Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry assaulting Mohbad sparked a flurry of reactions from the online community.

The video, which went viral, showed Mohbad in what seems to be a wheelchair with fellow artist Zlatan. Sam Larry is seen hitting him from behind before the intervention of Zlatan.

Surprisingly, before being released from prison, Naira Marley and Sam Larry had filed a lawsuit against the Magistrate and Police over their continuous detention, seeking N20m each as damages.

This came after a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, on October 4, 2023, remanded Naira Marley and Sam Larry, over allegations of bullying the late former Marlian Music signee Mohbad.

The lawsuit has gotten many talking with some concurring with them, while others noted how they were being accused of murder hence their detention.
