“Why I have to stop reading DMs to protect my sanity” Iyabo Ojo spills as she reacts to the cries of Nigerians

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has vowed to stop reading her DM to protect her sanity.

The movie star, who has become one of the few outspoken celebrities calling out the ills in the country, noted how her DMs are filled with people crying out for help.

Iyabo stated that hardship, acute depression, insomnia, and drug intake are what are causing a huge volume of insecurity, irrational behavior, and mental health in our society.

She asserted that her DM is a testimonial to these facts, hence, her decision to stay away from her DMs for some time being.

She prayed that God grants the government the wisdom to do right by their people before it’s too late.

“Hardship, causing acute depression, insomnia, an increase in drug intake, which is amounting to the huge volume of insecurity, irrational behavior, and mental health in our society …..

My DM is a testimonial to these facts. Henceforth, I have to stop reading my DM’s ……. to protect my own sanity,
.
May God grant our government the wisdom to do right by their people b4 it’s too late”.

A few days back, while reacting to the Ibadan explosion, Iyabo lamented over the recent happenings in the country, noting how kidnapping has become the order of the day.

She revealed that she couldn’t watch the videos from the explosion, which she described as heart-wrenching, as she sent prayers to the victims.

Last year, while reacting to the government’s decision to give N8k monthly to poor Nigerians, the businesswoman pondered on whether Nigerians have the strength to hold on before they reap the imaginary Renewed Hope.

The single mother of two noted how there is serious hunger in the land and the government’s palliative plan is just a joke & slap.

In other news, Iyabo Ojo had called out the Nigerian police, making them know that an injustice for one is an injustice for all.

She stated that any court or police station, they go to, she and others would accompany them as she vowed to hold tightly to the case.
