“Why are the prices of Nigerian made products increasing?” Daniel Regha

Controversial Twitter personality Daniel Regha has recently taken to the Xplatform to question the current prices of things.

He revealed that while it was understandable for the prices of imported goods to increase due to the exchange rate, he did not understand why the prices of Nigerian-made products were also increasing.

He sighted an example, using Dangote cement and local rice while questioning why they were rapidly increasing. This is what he had to say,

“The price of imported goods going up is understandable due to the exchange rate, but why are the prices of Nigerian-made products like Dangote cement & local rice for example, rapidly increasing?..”

Now recall that a few weeks ago while advising people in relationships on Valentine’s Day, he expressed that girls who were in relationships and were broke should use Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to stock up their houses.

He stressed on the importance of ditching things things like flowers and chocolate, and rather buying groceries.

Also recall that back on the 5th of February, he had also told couples in relationships to not go above and beyond on Valentine’s Day when they are not even sure that they are the only people in the relationship.
