“So you paved the way for them” Reactions as Daddy Freeze with proof slams those criticizing him for imitating Nedu, others as he launches his new podcast

Media personality, Daddy Freeze is the latest media personality to go into the podcast world, which has become lucrative these days.

With the likes of Nedu, Toke Makinwa, Phyna, and Teju Babyface always making headlines daily over their podcast, it’s not surprising to see Daddy Freeze follow in their footsteps.

The controversial media personality had earlier shared a snippet of his interview with Reekado Banks where he addressed his fallout with Wizkid. A fan taken to his comment section had applauded him for starting his podcast.

“Like play like play, Daddy Freeze don start him own podcast oo. Way to go, sir”.

Not pleased with his comment, Daddy Freeze via his Instagram page, addressed him and others as he made it known that he has been doing podcasts forever 5 years now.

Sharing proof of his interview sessions with celebrities which dated back to 2019, he made it known that he has been in the game for a long and wasn’t following anyone’s footsteps.

“For those of you who said I just started podcasts can you take a look at the date on this one? None of your popular podcasters had started podcasts in 2019???”.

This left a fan questioning if he was the one who paved the way for other podcasters.

For some days now, the music industry has been going back and forth about the old musicians paving the way for the younger ones.

In a recent interview, Eedris slammed Burna Boy for saying no one paved the way for him as he claimed that he was the one who spearheaded the revolution that led to the global recognition of him, Wizkid, Davido, and other artists.

He credited himself for their success as he said his revolt against the poor treatment of Nigerian artists by show promoters in 2005, especially his clash with 50 Cent and his members, was a breakthrough for them.

Burna Boy had replied him for coming at him as he blamed the people who donated money for Eedris’s hospital bills. He stated that he wished the singer was someone who could enter the kind of places, he enters so they can meet. The two went on to trade words online as Eedris wrote an essay to him for wishing him dead.

Rappers, Ice Prince, and Skibii had also reacted to it, making a mockery of Eedris as they sarcastically hailed him.

Odumodublvck stated that no one paved the way for them rather their hustling spirit got them to the top. He, however, stated that though one can be inspired, no one paved the way for another as such credit is for God.

The rapper made it known that no human being in the history of music has paved the way for him and it has only been God and added that no one should credit themselves in the future for paving the way for him.

His statement didn’t sit right with both Cynthia Morgan and Jaywon who slammed him. Cynthia noted how Odumodublvck was living up to his name as she called out his hypocrisy on how he can say he is inspired by someone, but they didn’t pave the way for him.

Jaywon had questioned how Odumodublvck would feel if any upcoming Abuja artiste made such a statement about him as he went on to trash his song. As expected, Odumodublvck hit back at him, and the two traded words online.
