In videos captured online, the singer, who was wearing a black outfit was seen exchanging pleasantries with a man who was also wearing black. What caught the attention of many was their method of greeting each other as they shook hands in an unusual way.

The video has since caused a stir online, with many believing the singer belongs to a fraternity.

The singer had greeted his friends with a “special handshake”, which caused a stir online as many noted how a cultist would never publicly claim to be one, while others stated that it could be a gang greeting.

The video came after the singer broke his silence on allegations of assaulting his former signee, Mohbad, which he debunked.

He stated that the rumors of the label being a drug cartel were untrue as he wasn’t a drug lord, and nor does he belong to any cult or fraternity.

Naira Marley stated that he is dedicated to proving his innocence and cooperating with the authorities to clear my name with sufficient evidence.
