Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo who has been at the forefront of the late singer, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba better known as Mohbad’s case, has reacted to the arrest of Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry.
On Thursday night, the Lagos Police Command confirmed the arrest of Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry, over the death of Mohbad.
The Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this Thursday night through his official X handle, stating that Sam Larry is currently assisting the Police with the investigation.
Reacting to it, Iyabo Ojo hoped that the case wouldn’t be that of Super Story.

Taking to her comment section, many hoped that the case wouldn’t be killed.

The development comes after Marlian Record label boss, Naira Marley, hinted at his plans to return to Nigeria to honor police invitation following the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death.
The Nigerian artist, MohBad died on September 12 under controversial circumstances, and to unravel the circumstances of his death, the Police commenced a coroner inquest.
Recall that after the rapper’s death, a video of him being harassed by Sam Larry had surfaced online.
In the video, Mohbad was shooting a music video with Zlatan in a wheelchair when Sam Larry stormed the location carrying a matchet and other weapons. If not for the intervention of Zlatan, Mohbad would have been mercilessly beaten.
The video, was an eye-opener for many as they believed the singer was murdered, with many pointing accusing fingers at Naira Marley and his label.
Further raising people’s suspicion was a resurfaced video of Mohbad alleging that Naira Marley and other members of the group were after his life.
The singer and rapper had also posted clips of an alleged assault he suffered at the hands of Naira Marley’s Crew after he requested to change his manager.
Mohbad was signed to Naira Marley’s” Marlian Records” and left the label in 2022.
