The Kano State Government has approved N854 million for the Auren Zaurawa Mass Wedding Initiative.
Due to the country’s economic crisis, this was approved on Wednesday at the state executive council meeting.
Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf announced on Thursday via his verified X handle, formerly known as Twitter.
He wrote: “Also from yesterday’s meeting. The Kano State Executive Council has approved the release of N854 million for the first phase of the Auren Zaurawa Mass Wedding Initiative”.
