Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye otherwise known as Rudeboy has come to the defense of his girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma following attacks from trolls.
On Sunday, Ivy Ifeoma had broken her silence on accusations of husband snatching. She expressed that she had nothing to do with Paul and Anita’s marriage split at all and that a lot of people were addicted to misinformation.
She further stated that she got into a relationship with a man who was very single and told people who chose to keep on believing lies and information to understand that they were now witches.
Defending her, Paul Okoye noted how many internet users wish all divorces were toxic and were fond of looking for people to blame so they could be entertained.
“Some of y’all wish and think all divorces must be toxic, looking for someone to blame so that y’all can be entertained lol”.
Recall that Paul Okoye’s wife, Anita filed for divorce in 2022, on the grounds of cheating, separation, being an absentee father, fraud, and difficult experiences.
A year after she filed for divorce, an Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama granted Anita and Paul Okoye a divorce, with a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s mansions.
Following the divorce, Paul moved on with an influencer and revealed in an IG live session that he was already single for 4 years when he met his now girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma.
In January, Ivy Ifeoma spoke on the ills of being the girlfriend of a high-profile celebrity. She admitted that she gets hurt by the comments she read online about herself, but tries to stay strong.
She noted how she started receiving bad comments from social media users the moment she and Paul went public about their relationship. Though she tries to overlook things, the most painful of the comments is when she gets called a homewrecker.
Recently, Ivy sparked pregnancy speculations from netizens following a recent video of her.
However, she quickly addressed the pregnancy speculations, noting how they have been speculating about her pregnancy since 1960.
