“You Were My World” Sola Kosoko Writes An Emotional Epitaph To Her Late Mother On Her 30years Remembrance


It is an emotional time for Nollywood actress, Sola Kosoko as she marks the 30-year remembrance of her late mother, Alhaja Sherifat Abimbola Kosoko.

Joining her father to celebrate her, Sola Kosoko wrote an epitaph to her mother, describing her as her dearest.


She noted how it’s been 30 years without her, as she praised her mother for having an inspiring soul and being there for others while alive.

To the world, she was one person, but to her, her mother was her World as she was the truest, dearest, and most especially her mother.


Praying for her soul to rest in peace, she expressed how much she still misses her.

“An Epitaph to my dearest mother.


It’s been 30 years without you Iya Sola.
My mother was an inspiring soul, always there for all.

To the world, you were one person, but to me, you were the world.


Mother, you were the truest, dearest, and you were more than a mother to me.


I miss you with each passing day, will forever have you in my heart.


May your gentle soul continue to rest in peace, dear Mama”.

The likes of Biola Bayo, Faithia Williams, Helen Paul, and Fausat Balogun joined her in remembering her late mother.
