Ahead of Independence day, Nigerian celebrities have proudly shown off their kids’ Independence day cultural outfits.
As Nigeria gears up for its 62nd birthday tomorrow, October 1st, many schools in Lagos held an Independence day celebration to mark the country’s birthday.
The likes of blogger Linda Ikeji, her sister Laura Ikeji, actress Mercy Aigbe and Ruth Kadiri, media personality Toolz, Peter Psquare’s wife Lola Omotayo, and Sunmbo Adeoye all showed off their kids’ outfits.
In celebration of independence day, these celebrity’s kids stepped out displaying different cultures. They were all decked out in various cultural and ethnic outfits.
Sharing photos on their respective pages, the proud mothers had something to say about their cute kids.
Laura Ikeji revealed how difficult it was getting her kids, especially her daughter, into her attire.
“Today has been a big struggle. Ryan loved his attire and couldn’t stop dancing. But u see this girl Laurel. She showed us pepper but in the end we succeeded in getting her into her attire. She’s Iyawo Oba and Riyan Mallam.
Sharing a photo of her son in his Edo-Benin regalia, Mercy Aigbe wrote, “For the culture. Oba ghato kpere!!!
Toolz wrote, “Look at our beautiful #UnemployedLittlePeople for Nigeria’s Independence Day. Love my babies!”
Sunmbo Adeoye revealed that she used her traditional wedding wrapper to make outfits for her two younger kids. She wrote, “This is my Traditional Wedding wrapper almost a decade later”.
Ruth Kadiri shared a photo of her and her daughter bonding with the caption, “Bond”.
Blogger Linda Ikeji captioned her post, “Igwe Jayce! It’s the first pic for me
Lola Okoye captioned the post of her two kids with, “My not so little babies..the reason for all the hustle, my prince and princess”.
