Famous Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma simply known as Bovi, in his effort to give back to society has renovated the primary school he attended, the University of Benin Staff School, Edo.
The funny man turned film producer took to his Instagram story to share some video snippets of the event.
Moreso, the comedy star was accompanied to the occasion by his friends and colleagues; Francis Agoda fondly known as I Go Dye; and Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, also known as I Go Save.
Taking to his verified Instagram account, I Go Dye expressed how proud he was of his friend, Bovi, for ‘remembering his humble beginning.’
Sharing pictures and videos of the event, I Go Dye via his caption section wrote, “Today I accompany my brother @officialbovi in commissioning this project, It’s really inspiring to remember one’s humble beginning and give back to nurture it.
“Bovi has shown a great sense of purpose and gratitude by renovating this magnificent educational project, his primary school, in the university of Benin staff school this will inspire the younger generation in years to come. In this sacrifice lies the hope of a future that’s rewarding to humanity.
“Congratulations brother for adding value to this citadel of learning which gave you the finest standard that you are translating today may God continually bless you. Amb Francis Agoda.”
This move has left fans sending in their prayers and blessings for Bovi for touching the lives of the children in the school.
It would be recalled that Bovi Ugboma had earlier revealed that he was banned from entering the United States.
The comic star revealed this while replying to questions from fans after he hosted a Question and Answer segment on his Instagram story.
According to Bovi, he was banned from the country after he clashed with a visa-issuing officer and got labelled.
He first spoke about the ban when a fan asked him to come to Massachusetts to perform.
“I’m banned in the USA,” the father-of-three replied.
Bovi Ugboma is a popular Nigerian comedian that has made Isoko nation proud in Lagos. He is from Ivrogbo-Irri town in Isoko South LGA of Delta State.
