Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has shed light on her rare appearance at the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Oshoffa Memorial Cathedral.

Several reactions had trailed the moment Funke Akindele went into a trance while worshiping with Christ Celestial Church in Lagos.
The actress turned politician was spotted dancing and worshipping with the church’s white garment, then suddenly she was touched by the spirit and went into a trance.
Funke Akindele said the church had joined her on her birthday thanksgiving.
Funke Akindele turned 45 on the 25th of August and held a thanksgiving to celebrate her new age on Sunday, August 29th.
From there, the actress went to another Celestial church to join the congregation to celebrate the 2022 edition of the Annual Prophet & Prophetess anniversary and commit the new year into the hands of God.
Funke Akindele revealed that she is humbled by their devotion to God’s work and draws from their example of stewardship and unwavering faith as she tackles her biggest undertaking yet.

The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) SB J Oshoffa Memorial Cathedral joined me in thanksgiving of my 45th birthday celebration on Sunday 28th August, 2022. I worshipped with the congregation and I can’t quantify the joy I felt worshipping in the Celestial Church of Christ where I am not a stranger. From there, I joined congregants at the Celestial Church of Christ, Wonderland Cathedral, Jesus Palace, Alaguntan, Iyana Ipaja to celebrate the 2022 edition of the Annual Prophet & Prophetess Anniversary and commit the new year into the hands of the Almighty. I am humbled by the devotion of the body of Christ in Alimosho LGA and draw from their example of stewardship and unwavering faith as I tackle my biggest undertaking yet. My spirit was lifted and I enjoyed every bit of both services”.

A video that found its way online captured the mother of twin boys rocking the famous Celestial white garmet while she revealed how she was connected to the Celestial Church of Christ’s body.
Funke Akindele claimed she was born and brought up as a celestial, and she was a lost sheep that came back to its foundation.
