Nollywood actress Toyin Adegbola, popularly known as Toyin Tomato, has won her way into the hearts of Nigerians as she holds a birthday for veteran Nollywood actress, Grace Oyin Adejobi, who clocks 93 today, 23rd of August 2022.
Toyin Tomato took to Instagram to share a video of herself, an aged Iya Osogbo and another actress surprising the celebrant on her day.
The video captured when Iya Osogbo was dancing heartily as they sweetly celebrated her birthday.

In like manner, actress Kemi Korede took to Toyin Tomato’s comment section to celebrate Iya Osogbo’s birthday with a lovely comment. The mother of two also presented the celebrant with an undisclosed amount of money.
She wrote: Grandma, we love you happy birthday mama igba Odun Odun Kan ni @yeyetoyintomato Mummy please send me grandma’s account num for her cake.
Esabod Global News recalls that in 2021 Toyin Tomato surprised Iya Osogbo, who officially retired from acting a few years ago, for her birthday.
Iya Osogbo is the widow of the late Yoruba actor Oyin Adejobi who died in 2000.
Toyin Tomato surprised the aged veteran actress at her official residence in Oluyole, Ibadan, where she serenaded her with birthday music and dance. This act overwhelmed the celebrant with emotions.
To the shock of many, Iya Osogbo was able to dance and move aptly in her old age.
Toyin Tomato, who shared the video online, wrote: “Look at her dancing step @92!!! God is good”
Some of her colleagues in the industry like Kemi Afolabi, Bimpe Akintunde, Omo Alausa, and others showered encomiums on her for carrying out the good act to honour Iya Osogbo.
Esabod Global News also recalls that in an interview, Iya Osogbo, who featured prominently in productions like Orogun Adedigba, Kuye, Kootu Ashipa and others, appreciated God for his Grace upon her life.
“I got to attain this age because of God’s mercy. In addition, the almighty also gave me the wisdom of preserving my body and being moderate in all I have been doing. Our youths should emulate this too. They should learn to be God-fearing too.
“All my admirers including colleagues and family members have agreed to postpone whatever plan they have to celebrate my 90th birthday because we must obey NCDC’s COVID-19 prevention rules,” she said.
