Just last week, the Yoruba Nollywood industry was thrown into mourning following the death of their colleague, Berry White, who slumped and died in her house. The news of her demise was made known by her colleague, Bakare Zainab, via her Instagram page.

A month before Nkechi’s death, Nollywood lost a veteran and an academia, Columbus Irisoanga. His colleague, Hilda Dokubo, posted the sad news on her Instagram page, expressing how heartbroken and heavy her heart was over the bad news.
