Nollywood actress and baby mama of music star Portable Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, has created a stir with her grand entrance to her movie premiere.
On Sunday, Ashabi held the premiere of her new movie, The Deputy, which had her friends and supporters in attendance.
A clip from the event is making rounds online, which captured the moment Ashabi walked into the venue with female bounders. Ashabi channelled her inner billionaire style as he held a walking stick and majestically walked into the venue with everyone cheering her.
The video has caused a stir online as many noted how her husband is rotting in Kwara police.
Esabod Global News reported on Monday that the Kwara State police had arrested Portable over alleged criminal defamation against Fuji singer Saheed Osupa. He was accused of threat to life, incitement, character assassination, criminal defamation and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace and the use of abusive and insulting words.
The singer was remanded in a correctional facility after failing to meet bail conditions of N1 million and two sureties, one of whom must be the Chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN). His case has been adjourned to April 30, 2025.
