BREAKING: Court sentences Rahmon Adedoyin to death by hanging for killing OAU student Timothy Adegoke 

An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo has sentenced Rahman Adedoyin, owner of Hilton Hotel Ile-Ile, to death for killing Timothy Adegoke, an OAU postgraduate student.


This is according to a ruling presided over by the state Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

The judge declared that Adedoyin and two of his workers, based on the circumstances of the case established by the prosecuting counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, are found culpable of conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful killing of the deceased.




Adegoke was killed in Adedoyin’s hotel in 2021. He was on Monday, November 7, 2021, declared missing before his dead body was found.
